Discipleship
Our goal is to make disciples who make disciples. A more mature Christian meets one-to-one with a newer believer and works through the Bible with them.
Why one-to-one
As born-again, Bible-believing Christians, we believe the Great Commission is obeyed through church planting and personal soul winning. Yet many churches have no ministry in place to build up new Christians once they come to faith.
True biblical discipleship includes both soul winning and edification. Soul winning begins the process of being conformed to Christ; edification produces committed followers who go on to disciple others.
Spiritual growth does not happen in a vacuum. God has determined that it takes place in relationships, so the lessons are not a Sunday school curriculum or a solo course. Each one is done together, in person.
The Journey manual
Our manual, Journey: The Spiritual Formation of Multiplying Disciples, is a workbook. You will not become a committed disciple without work.

Discipleship in your church
Your church can become a disciple-making ministry. It isn't difficult to start, but it takes commitment and a willingness to rethink your schedule and programmes. Pastor Josh is happy to talk it through and has the resources to help you begin.
